My name is Carlos
Andrés Rojas Corrales, I am an English teacher, I was born in Medellin on
November 19th of 1980.
My son’s name is
Isaac, he is seven years old, he studies at Corazonista School, he is in third
grade. He is very smart, respectful and loving. He loves travelling and
visiting different places, by the way last year he went to Argentina and Chile,
there he met the statue of Mafalda, one of his favorite comics to read.
I grew up in
Cartagena because when I was five years old my parents moved there.
In Cartagena I lived
for more than 12 years and when I was studying
there began my love for English
because I studied at Colombo Americano and I was very good at school.
When I was seventeen
I decided to study translation at University of Antioquia.
At this university I
only studied 2 semesters, I got bored because of the strikes. For that reason I
quit that university and I began studying degree in language teaching at U.P.B
I have worked in
different places such as Santo Domingo de Guzman school, Uniminuto and Pascual
Bravo.
I don’t have much
free time because I work from Monday to Saturday but the most important for me
is to share with my family. I like to read, play video games and travelling. I
have been in different parts of Colombia but my favorite place is Baru.
This is one of sites of tourist development of Cartagena de Indias.
Actually, it has beautiful white sandy beaches, clear waters, channels
surrounded by manglars and multicolored corals. You may arrive by land crossing
the Canal del Dique at Pasacaballos or by
sea crossing the Bay of Cartagena.
I have some dreams for example going to England because I want to practice
my English there, visiting different places such as: castles, gardens and know
its culture.
Another dream is going with my children to Disney world, because I think
it is a unique experience enjoying the different sites there.
